- Newly formulated PES (polyethersulfone) composition for more well-balanced membrane properties
- 3D chemical structure modeling ideal mix of hydrophilic and hydrophobic domains
- Ultra smooth polyurethane cut surface minimizes risk of blood cell damage
- Unique ripple structure inside the dialyzer creates less dialysate channeling for more homogenous flow. Through better diffusive transport, small molecule clearances are enhanced.
- Advanced pore-spinning technology creates more homogenous pore sizes to optimize sieving properties, resulting in improved removal of uremic toxins and low-molecular- weight proteins, with limited loss of important proteins such as albumin
- Improved header shape with redesigned caps to optimize blood flow dynamics
- Header caps are permanently attached, eliminating unexpected removal or reuse. This maintains an aseptic technique during the set-up
- Dialyzer is packed in an aluminum foil bag that has low moisture and vapor transfer rate, together with an oxygen scavenger that absorbs residual oxygen
- Housing and fibers are not made with BPA or DEHP thereby minimizing risk for endocrine disruption and safeguarding public health
