ONE PATIENT, ONE STICK
The Stiletto®, an extended dwell catheter, was designed to improve the patient and provider
experience while addressing common challenges with inpatient care, vascular access and vessel
preservation.
The Stiletto is indicated for insertion into a patient’s vascular system for short-term use (< 28 days)
to sample blood or administer fluids intravenously. Stiletto uses SlipStream™ catheter technology to
simplify the insertion process and remove guidewire related risks.

• Striped catheter designed to allow rapid
visualization of blood flashback immediately
following venipuncture.
• Passive safety designed to sheath the needle tip
decreasing accidental needlestick injuries.
• Ergonomic design is compatible with many
different gripping techniques allowing the
provider to call upon established muscle
memory for insertion.
